Just up from a 15 hour sleep and can now reflect a bit better on the past 2.5 days. Firstly, it was great to spend an action packed time in such a creative, expressive & surprising city (nearly every house I passed was covered in graffiti! And on the last day a box of old VHS tapes were outside our flat, with a trail of tape leading to the door).
Secondly, I enjoyed hanging out with you all, more than you'll know (I'm a fairly cave-dwelling human at the best of times, both in mind and body) so thanks for all the craic and friendship!
Finally, the sincerest thanks to Charlotte Dryden, Jonny Tiernan and Paul Kane for making it happen - my 17yr old self who used to sit in school listening to my favourite bands (and reading Alternative Ulster magazine of course), desperately daydreaming about the likes of what it would be like to play music live in another part of the world, is eternally grateful. Cheers, sláinte & danke schön! ??? - Shannon
